Odoo POS
Point of sale connected to the same stock and accounts as the rest of the business.
A till is only useful if it never stops
The first question worth asking about any point of sale is what happens when the line drops. If the answer is that the counter stops, the rest of the feature list does not matter.
Odoo POS runs in the browser and keeps selling through an outage, then syncs everything when the connection returns. Nothing is lost and nobody has to write sales on paper.
What separates it from a standalone till is what happens after the sale: stock is deducted, the day posts to the accounts, and the numbers you look at in the evening are the same ones your accountant sees.
Built for the counter, not the demo
Configured for your trade — retail, restaurant, pharmacy or wholesale.
Offline mode
Keeps trading through an internet outage and syncs automatically once the connection is back.
Barcode & touchscreen selling
Scan, tap or search. Cashiers get through a queue without typing prices from memory.
Live stock deduction
Every sale updates inventory across branches immediately — no nightly reconciliation.
Customer accounts & loyalty
Loyalty points, credit limits and statements for the regulars who keep the business going.
Mobile money & card
Split payments across cash, card and mobile money, reconciled per till at the end of the shift.
Daily Z-reports
Takings, best sellers and cashier performance per shift, readable on your phone from anywhere.
POS questions we get asked
The till keeps selling. Transactions queue locally and sync as soon as the connection returns, so no sales are lost and nothing has to be re-entered.
Usually. Odoo POS works with standard receipt printers, cash drawers, scanners and scales. We will check your specific equipment before quoting rather than assume it works.
A standalone till records sales. This one deducts stock, updates customer accounts and posts to the accounts as part of the same transaction — which is what removes the end-of-month reconciliation.
Yes. Each till reconciles on its own shift, while stock and reporting are shared across every branch.
